Mixed media and Illustration

I enjoy working collaboratively and following a brief. I really thrive upon creating meaningful pieces such as a Jim Hendrix scarf for a customer whose wife was a huge fan. We spoke about what artwork she liked and came up with a Celtic, botanical Jimi Hendrix silk scarf design.
Since recently becoming a mother I was inspired by Gustav Klimpts 'mother and child' and created my own illustrated version with welsh blankets along with the Kiss / Cwtch. Look closely and spot the collaged daffodils which are real pressed flowers.
